Just a prayer.

I know what I should do, but I just don't have the strength.

I know what I should do, but I feel so lost, I don't know where to start.

But I don't want to give up, I don't want to hide, I don't want to run away.

But I don't know how to start.

Lord, I know what I need to do, but I don't have the strength.

Sometimes the words disappear, sometimes the strength is gone.

All I can do is cry, all I do is look for You.

Father, sometimes I feel alone, I am lost and without the Lord I have no way out.

Lord, I can't run away from You, and I don't want to go either.

I just need to be with the Lord, I just need to feel Your presence.

I just need to feel Your love and I know everything will be okay.

I just need to feel Your warmth, and I know I'll make it.

The darkness is everywhere I look, outside is so dark and cruel.

Father, all I want is to be in Your heart.

Father, I've been away, I've been out there and I know what loneliness is, I know what it's like to walk blind and deaf in the world.

Father, I know what it's like to have a hole in your chest and nothing can fill it, yes Father, I've been out there and done things I thought I'd never do.

Yes Father, I've been in the dark and it was empty and cold and lonely, I don't want to be out there by my own in the world again.

Nothing is like Your love, nothing is like Your presence, nothing is like belonging to You. There's nothing to compare to You.

Father, I've been out there, I've been walking on my own and following my paths and making my decisions, and how blind I've been.

Yes, Father, I have done so many things that are wrong, and I regret it so much Father that it only hurts to remember who I was.

But now I know that the Lord rescued me, took away my pain with Your hand, put me in a safe place, I don't feel alone, not even in the dark.

Lord, my Father, now I know that I can call You my Father and I know that You hear me.

And when I just think of You, without even saying a word, I'm just silent and my heart needs You, You know it and You're there and I feel Your embrace and Your presence.

Yes, Father, You surround me and take me in Your arms and I have my strength and faith restored.

Father, I feel weak now, I don't know what to do, but I'm not afraid, because the Lord listens to me, rescues me and gives me the right direction,

I don't want to be out there, I don't want to think that I can do everything on my own, I already tried, and it got really bad.

Father, I don't want to act like my feelings or heart are going to bring me happiness, neither act on impulse or emotion, it never worked out and I just smashed my face into the wall.

Father, but now I want You to take care of me and my heart.

Father, teach me the right way, show me the way.

The Lord knows my story, my past, present and future, so You tell me what to do.

Father, I want to go where You want me to go and do what You ask of me. Please help me, give me strength and courage, increase my faith and boldness, because I know You, Lord and I want people out there to know You too, so You can do the same for them.

Father, only You can give true peace and love, fill that hole in our hearts that no one else can.

Only the Lord can open our eyes and ears so that we can see You and know who You are.

The Lord is so close and we are so far away so often.

The Lord is near and we hide.

The Lord calls us and we turn our backs.

No Father, I don't want to do this anymore, or be out there.

I want to belong to the Lord and live forever with You.

Because of the Lord Jesus Christ and Your Holy Spirit, Father, now I can be close to You.

So Father, here I am.
