Prayer

“The Lord will open heaven, the storehouse of his treasure, to send rain to your land in due season, and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations and borrow from none.” (Deuteronomy 28:12)

Lord, forgive me for the times I've borrowed and ended up taking a bigger step than I should have. Forgive me for the times when I was seduced by consumerism, I got into debt and I was ashamed for not being able to honor my commitments.

I know this is not the Lord's plan for me. So help me negotiate and settle my debts so that one day I can still lend to people in need. But also teach me that everything must happen in Your time and not mine. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
